On 1st Avenue South, a few blocks from the Missouri River, Great Falls Elks Lodge #214 has been one of the city's most reliably useful gathering places for over a century. The building holds a full bar with reasonably priced drinks, a kitchen that can handle a proper breakfast for a crowd, and bowling lanes that regulars know by name. It is the kind of place where the same faces show up year after year, and new ones are welcomed without ceremony.

Every March, the Lodge transforms into one of Great Falls's most anticipated cultural events: the March in Montana Art Auction, a showcase that draws artists and collectors from across the region. The main hall has hosted everything from campaign fundraiser breakfasts to organizational banquets, with adequate parking in the adjacent lot and street parking along 1st Avenue for overflow. The kitchen earns consistent praise from groups that have worked with it.

Membership in Lodge #214 connects you to the national Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a fraternal organization with deep roots in veterans' support, youth programs, and charitable giving. But day to day, this is simply a place where Great Falls people gather, share a drink, roll a few frames, and get things done for their community.

What We Offer

The Lodge offers a full-service bar with some of the most competitive drink prices in Great Falls, open to members and their guests. The adjoining bowling lanes give the place a recreational edge that few venues in the area can match, and league bowlers have made it a home for serious competition.

For event planning, Lodge #214 is a proven venue. The kitchen and banquet room have handled campaign breakfasts, nonprofit fundraisers, and private gatherings for groups of all sizes. Rental inquiries are welcome, and the staff knows how to keep a buffet line moving and a room full of guests comfortable. The March in Montana Art Auction each spring is the Lodge's signature public event, drawing art enthusiasts from across central Montana.

Membership opens access to the full calendar of Elks Lodge events, charitable programs, and the national network of over 1,900 lodges across the country. Whether you are a longtime Great Falls resident or new to the area, Lodge #214 is a straightforward way to plug into a community that actually does things.

"Drinks are reasonably priced but the bowling lanes need a lot of work!!! They should figure out how to be open more days of the week to the public so that they could learn their lanes better for the city bowling tournament. 🤔"

"Threw a farewell party here a couple weeks back. Rented bowling lanes, the upstairs lounge/dining areas and table cloths. Glen and his team were over-the-top exceptional in assisting with everything. Perfect place for large gatherings when you need places to bowl, lounge, cater and present from a stage."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
